More Legacy
Lore
- 6/17/2001 [10:30pm est]
A few days ago Ray has mentioned in the mailing-list
that there will be two more Legacy books, Krondor: The Crawler and Krondor: The Dark Mage.
Though these names may change, or he may never get around to writing them. He claims Sidi
may appear in them, most likely the later I assume. So that's two more books he has added
to a large list of books he plans to write.
US Legends Delay
Lore
- 5/26/2001 [10:13pm est]
Sad news for the States. The Unofficial news
from Ray is that the Legends book series may not come out in the States this year. According
to Ray, he has not settled on an agreement with Avon/EOS for bring out the book series in
the US this year. Will this hinder the up and coming Conclave, I hope not.
Ray claims that if you want the new book Honored Enemy in the US, then you have to mail order from the
UK (Australia) in order to get it. This is no problem for me. I'll just wont read it or buy
it until it comes out in the States. Sounds like Ray is losing more on the deal than me.

If you live in the States and haven't read it because it cost to much in hard cover. Here
is your chance to pour yourself a hard drink, curl up in your soft cuisine reading
chair. And start reading, until Tears comes out.
Riftwar Events -Spoiler
Lore
- 2/11/2001 [10:13pm est]
More detail was released by Ray about what
happens in the RiftWars. The First Riftwar happens in Magician. And we know what
happens there. The Tsurani War, a culture of people cross a magical portal called a rift;
invade the kingdoms. The Second RiftWar is the Serpent War. Where the prince’s city falls,
and a ancient weapon is destroyed. Of course there are books in between the Riftwars that set
the next one up. The Great Uprising was the first between event. Though Ray states that the third
might make it in this next series or it might not we will see.

On February 11, 2001 Raymond Feist said this on the Mailing-list:
>
>Conclave of Shadows _may_ segue into the Third Riftwar or contain
>it, I don't know until I get there.
>
>The third Riftwar is very nasty, very destructive to the Tsurani home
>world and will probably take at least one book of it's own, though
>as I said, I don't know how it will play in Conclave until I get there.
>
>The forth Riftwar is very short and nasty. It's a real "fire drill" war
>and taxes the resources of the Conclave, the Kingdom and the Empire
>of Great Kesh and changes forever how Stardock is regarded by the
>Kingdom and the Empire.
>
>The fifth Riftwar is the last one, and it's the shortest, and the nastiest,
>changing the face of Midkemia and marks the end of an era. The Great
>Cataclysm marks the boundary between "old history" and "game era"
>history. In our game, the riftwars are things of legend, and only 1
>person in a hundred even knows about them.

Congrates. Pug and Miranda have had a baby boy. Ray has named him
Magnus. No, he is not a mutant that creates static fields. Raymond has said
on more about who will be in the Talon book. Pug, Nakor, and Robert d'Lyes
will appear as guest stars, sort of a cameo appearance. As far as the Pug and
Tomas duo, We won't be seeing much of them until Riftwar 5. Where they will
become the major players, or you could say Stars.
