Tales/Legends mean the same Lore
- 11/6/2k [7:45pm est]

Yup, Tales of the Riftwar is now Legends of the Riftwar. Will this conflict with the Legends book with the Wood Boy story in it. Not what so every. Its basically along the same lines as the short story. In Rays own words:

Book Update Lore
- 9/3/2k [12:45pm est]

Krondor Tear of the Gods has just been turned in as of 8/31/2k. It will be next year until we see this book for sure. Some say they might for go the advertising blitz and release it as early as this November. But I doubt it. Don't get your hopes up to high.

Talon of the Silverhawk; out of the new series Conclave of Shadows may have a release date of Fall of 2002. This may change as has other release dates. Since this book doesn't even have a word to credit it's name. Since Ray plans to take a small break after finishing KTotGs.

The status of the co-authored novels follow. Honored Enemy is in about Chapter 6. Murder in La Mut is into Chapter 5. No word as to the novel with Stirling (Jimmy the Hand) is at. But someone for the mailing-list asked Ray on how he is writing all these books. Ray has stated that the coauthors do the first draft and he does the rewrites. Which what I think you call an editor with more privileges. Through I had a big argument with Ray over this along time ago. He sees it his way and I see it my way.

(Spoiler) Ray has also mentioned on the mailing-list that he might do another book based in line of the Krondor series. With more attention to the Jimmy vs. Sidi thing.

Book Names Lore
- 6/5/2k [2:06pm est]

Word has it that Ray plans on calling the first book for the ShadowWar series, Hawk Ascending. But it may change before the book comes out.

Ray has revealed more names of books. The book he is doing with Rosenberg will be called Murder in LaMut. And the final book with Stirling will be called Jimmy the Hand.

Here is some more skipped news. Honored Enemy will be based in the Northlands. Where a skirmish between Tsurani and Kingdom end up turning and joining sides to fight off Moredhel advancement from the north.

On a more personal note. Someone commenting about my web page approached me. Thank you for the insight. I do appreciate your kind words. Sorry I won't take you up on your offer, for those who are in the dark. This person wanted me to put my site up on a Portal. Here are the reasons on why I won't do it. The site might be moving; I'm having problems with my ISP right now. Like change my Unlimited to Limited access, how rude. I am on the Webring, which is good enough for me. And this site is extension of The PIT. And was the point of bringing information about Feist and the world he writes about for the Newsgroup. It was also to show other interest that I have. Check out The PIT for more information concerning this.

Correction: I stated in another News update that Raymond was having marriageable problems. Indeed he was, and is now divorced from his wife Kathlyn Starbuck. If my opinion matters, I hope Ray can move on with his life for his kid's sake. I wish him the best :)

New Feist Page Lore
- 2/3/2k [5:52pm est]

Welcome to the new The PITs Feist Page. The Gif Menu will be up as soon as 2/7/2k. This took me over four weeks to put together. Hope you enjoy all the work I put into this. Thank you for visiting. I feel special now.

Important note: Picture Menu has been added in as of 2-13-2k. And slight corrections have been made.

Tales Lore
- 2/3/2k [5:32pm est]

The First book of Tales of the RiftWar will be 'Honored Enemy' with Bill Forstchen and Raymond being the authors. This book will come out after Tears. Which has been delayed, due to spouse problems. This is coming from Feist Internet Resource Index. I'm not sure if the problems are true, or just rumor. However Tear of the Gods looks to be delayed.

Old news thats important -Spoiler Lore
- 1/24/2k [5:28pm est]

Here is some old news that should have been posted. There is FIVE "RIFT WARS". The first one was called the "RiftWar". Vary imaginative ;) That was the war between The Kingdom of Isle and Tsuranuanni Empire. The next rift war is the SerpentWar. The junk between (Silver & aDaS) was the Great Uprising, which is included in the RiftWar series. Conclave of Shadows is the 3rd rift war. Which is vary important, but relatively brief. Riftwar four was longer, but not so important. Riftwar five was very short, but VERY important.

Important note: The co-Author series will be called Tales of the Riftwar.

Assassins Out on shelf Lore
- 6/12/1999 [7:13pm est]

Krondor: Assassins has been released. Next to be released is Krondor: The Tear of the Gods. Based on the game Return to Krondor. Tears will finish off the Legacy Series.

Current plans Lore
- 6/4/1999 [4:20pm est]

Raymond has announced that not only is he writing Krondor: Tear of the Gods, with the Shadow War following it. But he will also Co-Arthur a series based on short stories about the Riftwar Series. Stories that took place during the same time as the RiftWar. There will be three of these books, maybe more.

The Co-Authur's are: William R. Forstchen, author of several fantasies novels as well as the Lost Regiment Series (one of Mr. Feist personal favorites). S. M. Stirling, author of some of the best SF being written today, including the Draka series as well as Island in the Sea of Time and Against the Tide of Years. Joel Rosenberg, author of more SF/F than I can shake a stick at, including the Guardian of the Flame series. These new books that he is (stamping his name on sort of) supporting will be much like the Empire series. As in how they fit in with the rest of his books. A read after you have read Magician.
