North Carolina, our big, giant, out of the way, detour for the trip. We had to go all the way around on this peninsula, even taking a couple of ferrys just to see Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. We're not sure if it was worth it, no matter how cool it actually was. Stayed at Wilmington also, but that detour just about killed us. |
