1. Who are the "Whispered?"
The Whispered are a very, very small number of people.
Locked inside of their minds are the keys to a technology
that has never been seen before, or otherwise known as
"Black Technology."

2. What is "Black Technology?"
Black Technology is what is locked inside out the minds
of the Whispered. Black Technology helped create the
AS's, the Lambda Driver, and the Tuatha de Danaan.
If this information ever fell into the wrong hands, the
effects could be catastrophic.

3. What is the Lambda Driver?
This is a device created by Black Technology. It has the
ability to make the pilot's thoughts and emotions a weapon.
For example, if the pilot wants to block an attack, they can
stop the weapon or even reflect it back by just thinking that.

From FMP: The Second Raid
To active the Lambda Driver for offensive attacks, brain waves in the
30 - 50 Hz range are required. These brain waves are extreme hard, if not
impossible to create. However, the brain waves can be created artificially,
like in the case of Takuma, the pilot of the Behemoth, using the drug TI970.

4. What is Mithril?
Mithril is a secret organization that protects people against terrorist
organizations and in there spare time, they defend nuclear weapons exports.
They are not belong to any country. Most of the world's citizens do not know
about this organization.

5. Is FMP? Fumoffu the sequel to the first season? What about FMP: The Second Raid?
Fumoffu is a collection of the comedy bits that were never made during the
first season. Everything before the "A Goddess Comes to Japan" episodes would have
to take place somewhere during the timeline on the second season. Everything after that
would be after the final battle on the Tuatha de Danaan. The Second Raid takes place a few
months after that battle. Refer to the original Full Metal Panic! manga to get a better
view on the overall timeline.
